Books made to be given

Supporters will sponsor the production of one or more books rather than purchase books for themselves. OGA will coordinate printing and distribution to approved schools, libraries, children’s care organizations, and partner programs.

Original, useful, and child-centered

OGA is developing its own characters and educational concepts so each book can combine an illustrated story, clear explanations, safe hands-on activities, and space for children to draw, observe, and solve problems.

Five series in six months

The project roadmap calls for five coordinated series within a six-month publishing cycle, including a Christmas collection for November–December and a dedicated series created for American children.

Published in the languages children use

Each edition will be prepared for the country and community where it is distributed. Books for Ukraine will be published in Ukrainian, editions for English-speaking programs in English, and additional languages will be developed with local partners as distribution expands.

The publishing plan

Five unmistakable book series.

Each series has its own subject, color system, cover language, and activity format. All five are planned inside one six-month development cycle—not over five years.

Local-language editions

Children read in the language of their community.

Each edition will be prepared for the country and community where the books are distributed. Books for children in Ukraine will be published in Ukrainian; editions for English-speaking programs will be published in English; and additional languages will be developed with local partners as distribution expands.

Translations will be reviewed for language, age appropriateness, educational clarity, and local context before printing. Children will not be expected to learn from an English-only edition that was created for a different audience.

Meet the guides

Discovery has three companions.

The observer

Mila

Mila notices patterns, asks careful questions, and records what the team learns. She reminds readers that curiosity begins with looking closely.

The builder

Leo

Leo likes to test, repair, and improve ideas. He shows that a first attempt does not have to be perfect to teach us something useful.

The friendly guide

Spark

Spark is a friendly learning robot that appears in every book, pointing readers toward a hidden detail, challenge, or moment of kindness.

The giving model

Sponsor a book. Give it forward.

  1. 01
    OGA creates the title

Original writing, illustration, educational review, and print preparation are coordinated as one child-centered product.

  2. 02
    Supporters fund the print run

The founding campaign is open. Donors can support book development and future print runs while final production costs and distribution plans are confirmed.

  3. 03
    Books go where children read

OGA plans distribution through approved schools, libraries, care organizations, and partner programs.

  4. 04
    Donors receive confirmation

The final model will include an acknowledgment and appropriate donation receipt rather than shipping the sponsored book to the donor.

Six-month publishing plan

Five series in six months.

The series will move through overlapping writing, illustration, review, prepress, and printing stages—not one series per year. Christmas is planned for the November–December campaign window.
